Natural Light Headshot and Portrait
Classic Portrait
The classic portrait is inspired by the paintings of the Renaissance Era. We recreate this elegant painting and lighting style through modern-day photography, along with hand-painted backgrounds and carefully curated props in our stunning set. This classic look makes for beautiful heirloom senior portraits, as well as family and child portraits.
This is my favorite style to create, and it’s become one of our signature looks!
Modern Portrait
The modern studio portrait uses classic lighting but contemporary backgrounds and little to no props. It creates more “grownup” looking portraits. I recommend it for senior boys and girls wanting the “wow” factor.
Beauty Portrait
The beauty portrait includes only the head and shoulders. It is used mainly for pageant and dance headshots. You wear elegant, feminine silk or a shiny top with a great neckline to accentuate the collar bone and to elongate the neck. The final images are the kinds seen in makeup and jewelry ads, those with windblown hair and great expressions.
Fashion Portrait
The fashion portrait is where art meets commerce. The person, clothes, poses, lighting, backgrounds and more – all working together for beautiful imagery to sell an aesthetic or lifestyle. With this look, I produce punchy, colorful, dramatic and standout images that will separate your social media from the masses. This is perfect for senior portraits, executive headshots or branding images for your business.
Bed of Flowers
Through the years, we’ve created many different beds of flowers. Every one of them stunning. This soft, enchanting look is great for senior girls, maternity portraits and little girl portraits. It’s one of our most requested styles.
Environmental Portrait
The environmental portrait captures you in your natural habitat – the outdoor place you love. At Maria Moore Photography, we take this look to the next level. For seniors, we create story concepts. From a woods fairy to a river goddess…anything is possible for your images.
We use the change of seasons too to offer beautiful, natural backdrops for your senior and family portraits. We’ll schedule in advance to capture the glorious spring flowers or the golden colors of fall. We can meet you at the beach, the local mountain, in the woods for hunting or a local farm – wherever the natural environment captures your or your family’s lifestyle.
Urban Portrait
The urban portrait is created in downtown Huntsville or in nearby locations. It varies from casual and edgy to formal and poised, depending on the location you choose. Any place in the city – landscaped churches, iron fences, back alleyways, fire escapes and more – makes for stunning portraits to reflect your or your family’s personality.
This is a popular look among seniors. It’s perfect for wearing your favorite everyday outfits while capturing portrait-worthy images! Sweet smiles and natural expressions are definitely welcomed with this style.
Corporate Headshots or Group Images
Get masterful, standout images to reflect your business goals and personality. We offer special group pricing and will travel to your business within the Huntsville area for no extra cost. We also can create unique headshots in the studio at group rates.
Sports Portrait or Composite
The sports portrait can be created in our studio using a magazine ad style or on location at your school’s field or stadium. Plus, we can use a green screen to composite creative images for a team that simulate a sports ad.
